The commune of Chêne-Bougeries, on the left bank of Geneva, is mainly made up of villas and small apartment buildings. It is in this quiet environment, with all amenities and not far from the city center, that five contiguous villas have been built using the eSMART home automation system.
All the villas have THPE (very high energy performance) certification, thanks to all-round insulation, triple glazing, roof-mounted solar collectors for hot water and a heating system powered by an air-to-water heat pump. The rooms are heated by an underfloor heating system that can be controlled room by room via a control panel. Each villa is equipped with an “eSMART” home automation system that allows individual management of energy consumption, i.e. heating, hot water and electricity, as well as blinds and awnings. The residence’s resolutely modern entrance gate can be opened and closed by videophone. The exterior features are simple, with a draining paver driveway at the front of each villa, and a planted separation on the garden side to ensure privacy.
