eSMART’s patented technology requires no specific wiring, no switchboard intervention, and no bus line. The products use an optimized PLC (Power Line Communication) technology that runs through existing electrical wiring, with no technical prerequisites. Modules, invisible to the user, plugged in behind the electrical switches in the flush-mounted box, connect each piece of equipment to the eSMART interface. A temperature sensor is connected to the module in each room to allow for heating regulation. The system interfaces with the building’s selected equipment without constraint.
